You can either obtain a tourist visa from the Nepal Embassy or consulate of your own country or after arriving in Nepal. If you opt for the latter, the visa can be obtained at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Likewise, you can also obtain it from Nepal-India border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki and Kodari on the Nepal-China border.
You will need a valid passport and one passport-size photo to apply for the Nepali visa. The cost of the visa is as follows:
Note: Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal. Nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan will need to obtain a visa from Nepal Embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their respective countries, as they do not get visa on arrival at the immigration entry points of Nepal.
