Itinerary

  • - Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu

    After you land at Tribhuwan International Airport in Katmandu, you will be received by our representatives who will then assist you to transfer to your hotel. After check-in, we will have a short briefing of your trek. Remaining time is free for independent activities. You can relax or have an evening stroll around the city for your own leisure.

  • - Day 02: Flight to Pokhara, exploration of temples, caves and lakes

    About 25 minutes of scenic flight early in the morning from Kathmandu Airport will take you to the heart of Pokhara. We will explore Davi’s Falls, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, boating on Fewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple right in the middle of the lake! We will then drive to Sarngkot for stunning sunset view from the high Himalayas. If weather permits, we can have clear view of Annapurna Range, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Machhapucchre (Fishtail) and other snow-capped mountains. Overnight stay in Sarangkot.

  • - Day 03: Sarangkot sunrise, paragliding and more caves!

    Sarangkot is very famous for its sunrise views. And while we are here, we wouldn’t want to miss it. Early in the morning, we will hike to View Tower for the sunrise. The view of sun coming out of the snow-capped mountains is totally mesmerizing. What a way to start our day! After breakfast back in our hotel, we will prepare for paragliding from Sarangkot to Pokhara Valley. After paragliding, we will transfer to our new hotel and then explore other places such as Mahendra Cave, Chamero (Bat) Cave and Seti River George.

  • - Day 04: Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m) – Approx. 7 hrs

    After Pokhahra sightseeing, it’s time to explore the hills surrounding it. This calls for destination Poon Hill for the most stunning of mountain range views! We will begin this short trekking by driving to Nayapul. From there, we will pass through many local villages and teahouses with warm hospitality. We will cross Birenthanti village and arrive at Tikhedhunga where we will spend the night.

  • - Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2,775 m) – Approx. 8 hrs

    From Tikhedhunga, we will take unrelenting stone staircase to Ulleri on the way to Ghorepani. We will then pass through pastures and cultivated fields, walking beside the cascading river and rhododendron forest. The trails are fully covered with snow in winter. The warm hospitality of Ghorepani will make you forget the long day’s walk.

  • - Day 06: Trek to Poon Hill Gandruk – Approx. 7 hrs

    We will leave our belongings in the hotel and leave for Poon Hill (3,210m) at dawn. About an hour of climb to Poon Hill will give us the most stunning view of different mountain, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna mountain range and Niliri Mountain among many others! The sunrise from Poon Hill is very stunning as well. We will return to our hotel in Ghorepani for breakfast and then head to a very popular and traditional Gurung settlement of Gandruk.

  • - Day 07: Back to Pokhara

    If you missed views of mountains a day earlier due to us arriving there late, fear not. Brace yourself for mountain views right out of your hotel room’s window! The mountain seems really close! After breakfast, we will drive back to Pokhara. You are free to explore the city of Pokhara after lunch. The day (and night) is yours!

     

  • - Day 08: Flight to Kathmandu, departure

    We will take a morning flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Depending on your international flight schedule, you can spend some time visiting nearby places or shopping in preparation for departure. We will drive you to Tribhuwan International Airport two hours prior your flight time. And comes the final departure with lots of memories.
